Professional Development provides educators with the opportunity to receive continuing education in specific content areas. The Office of Career-Technical Education provides the opportunity for high-quality professional development, sharing of expectations for the profession and Career-Technical Education programming.

Ohio Association Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences, a non-profit organization, is a division of the Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education. Membership consists of secondary, adult, and post-secondary educators. Membership can be found on the OATFACS website.

These opportunities are facilitated by the Ohio Department of Education, Ohio Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (Ohio FCCLA) and Ohio Association Teachers of Family and Consumer Sciences (OATFACS). Additional instruction is provided in cooperation with colleges and business partners.
