Being an Executive Council Member involves tremendous time commitment  and responsibility to the organization. Ohio Family, Careers and Community Leaders of America must be a priority for the entire year, There will be times when other activities and interests may conflict with an  Ohio Family, Careers and Community Leaders of America training or event, and you must miss that special game or event.

The year as an Ohio Family, Careers and Community Leaders of America Executive Council Member is a year of service. Ohio Family, Careers and Community Leaders of America Executive Council members have many duties that require travel and numerous days away from school and home. Being an Executive Council member is a fantastic opportunity to learn, make new friends, and strengthen your communication and leadership skills.

If you have the desire to serve as Ohio Family, Careers and Community Leaders of America members and have the support of your family and adviser you should consider participating in the executive council selection process. At State Leadership Conference, selected individuals will have the opportunity to appear on stage and contend to serve as an Ohio Family, Careers and Community Leaders of America Executive Council member. Those individuals will be selected using the process found in the materials at the bottom of this page.
