State Leadership Conference (SLC) is the largest event of the year with attendees participating in Career Development Events, leadership training, service learning, networking with fellow members and advisers, and visiting the Ohio FCCLA Expo! FCCLA Red Blazers are the symbol of FCCLA leadership, professionalism, and service to the organization. Ohio has an Official Dress Policy for attending State Leadership Conference and on-stage recognition.

Ohio FCCLA State Leadership Conference Service Project
- Chapters will drop off their pop tabs (no cans) in a labeled zip-loc, trash, or any other kind of plastic bag at the Ohio FCCLA Expo during the 2nd Session on Thursday, April 16th.
- The bags must be labeled with the chapter name, chapter number, and the number of chapter members attending the State Leadership Conference.
- Pop tab bags will be weighed by Ohio FCCLA.
- The chapter with the highest average per SLC attendee will be the winner.
